I was there once... |
I was there once, It was so peaceful... Clear blue sky, A little stream That sparckles Like silver across The smooth rocks... Thousands of Goldfish swim Down stream Into a deep blue sea... Pooled near the base Of the dark grey Mountains... lightly frosted With crystalsOf white snow... The water hissed In low tones As birds sang The melodie... Even the sounds Of the wind Was in harmony, Until... I awoke Cole Feb 1997

A poem that was given to me by someone special. I was struck before that hour With love so sudden and so sweet Your face it bloomed like a sweet flower And stole my heart away complete. My face turned pale as deadly pale My legs refused to walk away And when you looked, what could I ail? My life and all seemed turned to clay And then my blood rushed to my face And took my eyesight away The trees and bushes around the place Seemed moonlight at moonday I could not see a single thing Words from my eyes did start They spoke as chords do from the string And blood burnt round my heart Unknown Author | Untitled
